With today’s resources it’s easier than ever to create multiple income streams.  It’s especially true for those of us who enjoying the leisure of retirement because, once you have everything in place, the money can come in automatically twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week.  Sound impossible?  It’s not.  And, believe it or not, it can be a lot of fun.

There are many companies that will pay you quite handsomely for referring people to their products.  It’s like being a commissioned salesperson and you can easily create multiple income streams that have the potential to give you more income than when you were working.  And, if you’re thinking that it’s not really something that you want to do, stop and think about that because you’re probably doing it already!  Everyone of us has recommended a product or place of business so the only difference here is that you’re leveraging the internet.

There are quite a few people who are making money from the number one passion in their life: golf.  Some are writing about the public courses in their area and reviewing each one with some tips on where to eat locally.  Some are offering "golf vacations" and making handsome referral fees and some are writing reviews on the latest equipment.  There's almost no limit to what you can write about and the advertising on your website can provide enough income to fund your golf addiction. Multiple income streams are part of the benefits of owning your own website and it can come from advertising, referral fees or even books that you write.

If traveling is your pastime, think about writing off those cruises and expeditions with a little website that keeps your readers informed about the "hidden" gems in the places you've gone to.  I like to travel, I enjoy writing and I love to take pictures.  This website provides me with an outlet for all of these activities.  I would do it no matter what.  I started it as a hobby, and I've been at it ever since.  I have created multiple income streams simply from doing something I would do anyway.  I have no idea why every retiree doesn't have a website of their own.

While we're on the subject of creating extra income, don't overlook all those "valuables" you've collected over the years.  Some people might refer to it as "junk" but we both know there are wonderful memories attached to those things.  Do a little search on the internet to see what people are selling and you might be surprised to see some of those baseball cards you've got stashed away being offered for more money than you thought.  Old newspapers and old books can be turned into "found money" that can pay bills or finance your next vacation.  I know a few people who made a few thousand dollars from their basement inventory and went on to start a little business.  They stop at every garage sale and every thrift store because it turns out that other people's "junk" can be turned into a business that generates multiple income streams and a new passion in life: managing their little internet store on e-Bay.

It's time to leverage your expertise and fire up your passion!  No matter how unique your hobbies or interests are, I can guarantee someone is making money from it online!  Why not you?  You can even get started for free to see if you like it.  Who knows, you could be selling books on Amazon about your favorite wildlife or even offering reviews of your favorite recipes and cookbooks and making money at the same time.  There’s almost an endless number of possibilities to create multiple income streams and have fun at the same time.

Did I ever think I’d see my pictures online or even think about making money this way while I was working?  I most certainly did not.  I have found the time spent creating these multiple income streams to be very creative and fun.  Truth be told, I don’t mind the extra money that comes in while I’m doing it.  As you can see from this website, I believe retirement should be fulfilling and fun and I think doing new things is part of realizing that this stage of our life isn’t the end but a new beginning.  Start exploring now.  It’s time to Enjoy Retired Life!
