My advice is to look into starting a little business and, preferably, doing it on the internet.  Now before you start coming up with excuses about how you know nothing about technology, let me assure you that many people with less technical knowledge than you are making a very nice income with their own little website or even their own store.  Seniors are a fast-growing segment of the internet entrepreneurs around the world because the fact is that you can earn extra money and have fun at the same time.  And the best part is that you can make money around the clock even when you’re sleeping.  It will bring a smile to your face when you wake up and find out you made a sale.

Many retirees are creating a win-win situation by getting rid of all the things they have accumulated over the years.  My wife is one of those people who have started a little enterprise that brings in more money than she thought possible and, I’ll be the first one to tell you, she was the last person I ever thought would do this.  She donates everything to goodwill, and she still will give most things away as a donation.  But an old collectible Christmas ornament that she came across on the internet by accident matched something we had in our basement and the price seemed ridiculously high.  She did more research and found that the price was in line with what everyone else was offering this ornament for.  She was curious.  The ornament was still in the original box and hadn’t been our tree for years.  Could she turn this into cash?  She found out that she could and sold it within two days.  The process was extremely easy, and she could even print out a pre-paid shipping label (paid by the buyer), box the item and then just take it to the post office.  She was very excited and thoroughly enjoyed the process.  She had made someone very happy, got rid of the something that was collecting dust and she could earn extra money and have fun at the same time.  In fact, she had a lot of fun and has talked two of her friends into doing the same thing.
